Pilgrim Software has set about changing its image. The Tampa, Fla.-based provider of enterprise quality management software and services for life-science companies, now will be known as Pilgrim Quality Solutions.
The company began operating under the new trade name on May 19.
According to the company’s leadership, the change is “a more accurate articulation of Pilgrim’s business, and more clearly defines the business paradigm that it is addressing through its products and services.” The new logo and website are intended to demonstrate the company’s commitment to the life-science sector, as well as the “flexibility and connectivity” of the company and its solutions.
“In the 20-plus years that Pilgrim has been pioneering quality management solutions, we’ve evolved quite a bit,” said Thierry Durand, Pilgrim’s president and CEO. “Our portfolio has expanded, our reach has grown, and we’ve helped hundreds of life-sciences firms achieve their quality and regulatory compliance goals.”
Durand said that during the past years, it was “evident” the company needed to expand on its legacy and “refresh” to better reflect the company in its current form as well as its goals for the future.
“We’re no longer only a software developer. We’re a developer and global provider of quality solutions—software solutions, cloud solutions and consulting services,” he said.
Founded in 1993, the company has provided enterprise quality software to highly regulated industries. Pilgrim helps organizations centralize and automate data to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance, optimize the value chain and improve overall customer satisfaction.
