Surgical robotics company CMR Surgical has appointed Shlomi Cohen as its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective immediately.
Cohen was most recently chief financial and operations offer at Lumenis, a company that specializes in minimally invasive medical devices and advanced clinical solutions. Before his seven years at Lumenis, Shlomi was CGO at software technology business Formula Systems.
Cohen is taking up the CFO role from Anna Wasyl, who is moving into a new role at CMR, chief commercial partnerships and operations officer. She will work closely with chief commercial officer Massimiliano Colella.
“As we continue to invest in bringing Versius to more customers around the world, I am pleased to be further strengthening our leadership team with Shlomi’s appointment,” said CMR Surgical CEO Supratim Bose. “His deep knowledge of the medical devices industry, and high growth businesses is a perfect fit for us. Shlomi will be hugely valuable to the team as we continue our rapid global scale up. Ealier this year, CMR released vLimeLite, an integrated fluorescence imaging system to visualize ICG (Indocyanine green).
