Arch Medical Solutions Corp. has acquired Market Services Corporation (MSC) located in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
MSC is a manufacturer of custom designed ultrasonic sub-systems for the clinical and laboratory diagnostic markets. The newly acquired operation will join Arch Medical Solutions, bolstering Arch as a diversified supplier noted for growth and scale within the medical device contract manufacturing market. The acquired business features products that align well with the Arch Medical Solutions – Newtown facility and will be integrated into this site.
Paul Barck, divisional president of Arch Medical Solutions, says that the MSC acquisition adds another area of expertise to the Arch brand supporting diagnostic testing and life sciences end markets.
“Adding the talents and unique capabilities of MSC to the Arch Medical Solutions family benefits our OEM partners within the clinical diagnostics and life sciences industry,” Barck commented. “We see the addition of MSC as an important and strategic move as we continue to diversify our capabilities and offer OEM customers a broader portfolio of high value products and manufacturing services. As an established provider and long-time technology leader within these fluid handling sub-systems critical to large diagnostic and medical testing platforms, MSC is an excellent and complimentary addition to our Medical Solutions business.”
“We feel this is the right decision for MSC and our customers,” said John Salyers, President of MSC. “The Arch platform broadens our offering and will be very beneficial to our customers. Arch provides additional financial stability and expanded resources that will help to accelerate our growth. Joining forces with Arch was not a decision we took lightly. Arch has the same core values for their customers that we do at MSC and an industry reputation for excellence.”
“MSC is a fantastic addition to our team,” added Eli Crotzer, president and chief executive officer at Arch. “We’re gaining more than skilled people with deep experience in ultrasonics. We’re gaining a company with a reputation for excellence that further enables us to serve the medical OEMs that rely on our precision manufacturing capabilities.”
