Clinical Innovations, a Salt Lake City, Utah-based maker of medical devices for labor and delivery, has named Ken Reali as its president and CEO. He replaces Shacey Petrovic, who left the company in April. Petrovic now is chief commercial officer at Insulet Corp.
Reali's has a long career in healthcare, including 24 years in the medical device sector. During his tenure, he held various leadership positions at global medical device companies including Biomet Inc., Stryker Corp. and Smith & Nephew plc. Most recently, Reali served as president and CEO of Baxano Surgical Inc, a publicly traded medical device company, where he led the development and launch of multiple new products as well as the acquisition of new technologies.
